A bit about me

I have a passion for visual communication and believe it's a language that can be used to share new ideas with people. It can take many forms: a photograph, a print ad, an online experience—even a sign on top of a building.

I have a clean design aesthetic and a curiosity to see things differently. I also have a love for social media and the ability it gives us to exchange new ideas with someone totally unexpected.

In my free time I'm an avid street photographer, shooting photos of architecture and people and telling the story of what it's like to live in a big city. I believe it helps me stay fresh as an Art Director. I've been photo-blogging since 2005, and had the pleasure of speaking on the subject at the SoHo Apple store in NYC.

Whether it's commercial work or photography, it all comes down to starting with a good idea, then bringing it to life in a way that's fresh and new.
